Obesity is defined as a medical condition with abnormal or excessive fat accumulation that may impair health. The clinical definition of Obesity is a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 30 or higher. It can be calculated as the Body weight in Kilograms divided by the square of height in meters.
Causes

Lichen Planus
Lichen planus is a chronic mucocutaneous disease that commonly affects the skin of wrists and ankles, tongue and the oral mucosa. It presents itself in the form of papules, lesions or rashes. It is not a contagious disease.
Cause: Unknown, but thought to be autoimmune in origin
Psoriasis
Psoriasis presents itself in many forms, but most commonly seen as red and white hues of scaly patches/plaques appearing on the skin. It frequently occurs on skin of elbows and knees but can affect any area, including the scalp, palms of hands and soles of feet, and genitals.
Cause: Autoimmune disease. It occurs when the immune system sends out faulty signals that speed up the growth cycle of skin cells thereby accumulating excessive thick patches of skin at the effected sites. Other factors that play a role are genetic, biochemical, trauma, stress, infections etc.
Vitiligo
Chronic disorder that causes depigmentation of skin in patches. Generally the depigmented patches appear first on limbs and may later spread to the face and other parts of body. Patches are initially small but they often enlarge and change shape.
Cause: Autoimmune Disease. It occurs when melanocytes, the cells responsible for skin pigmentation, die or are unable to function.
Warts
Commnly known as Viral Warts are generally a small, rough tumor, typically on hands and feet but often other locations, that can resemble a cauliflower or a solid blister. They may disappear on their own after or few months but may recur after cauterization.
Cause: viral infection, specifically by human papillomavirus 2 and 7.
Gastrointestinal Diseases
Colitis
The term colitis literally means inflammation of colon. The cause is still elusive, but it manifests itself as pain in abdomen, loss of appetite, fatigue, diarrhoea, cramping, urgency and bloating. There may be weight loss, fever and bloody stools.
Fissures
It is a crack or a tear that appears in the anal canal generally noticed by bright red anal bleeding on the toilet paper or toilet. There may be painful defecation, burning while passing stools & fresh bleeding.

Cirrhosis is a consequence of chronic liver disease characterized by replacement of liver tissue by fibrosis, scar tissue and regenerative nodules leading to loss of liver function. Ascites (retention of fluid in abdomen) is the most common and life threatening complication of liver cirrhosis.
Cause: Alcoholism, Chronic hepatitis B and C, and fatty liver disease. In some cases cause may be unknown.

Presents itself as itching, rectal pain or rectal bleeding. At times the hemorrhoid blood vessels may protrude out of the anus. Defaecation becomes painful and is accompanied by blood.

Arthritis
